Four walls propped up between the columns of Sadie Coles HQ for Daniel Sinsel’s 2022 solo exhibition. The exhibition design for the show was developed in collaboration with the artist, reacting both to Sinsel’s work and the found space of the gallery.

The 8 existing columns within the space are used to support 4 tilted walls - creating a central room surrounded by a series of smaller spaces. The walls are detailed such that their corners delicately kiss the columns and floor, seeming almost weightless. These qualities relate to and communicate with the work of the artist, where distorted canvases, shapes and objects play with illusion and reality.

The walls reused and reimagined the built fabric from the previous show in the space. The four walls have now been disassembled in preparation for a further life, constructing a dwelling in an artist residency programme, also to be designed by Entropic Group.
